Steps on how to Connect Bigcommerce with Commercium

This article will guide you through the simple steps to connect your Bigcommerce store to Commercium. By connecting your store, you can streamline your operations, automate tasks, and gain valuable insights into your sales data.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1.Generate API Credentials in Bigcommerce:

• Log in to your Bigcommerce admin panel.
• Navigate to Settings > Store-level API Tokens.
• Click on + Create API Account.
• Select V2/V3 API token as the Token type.
• Enter "Commercium by ConstaCloud" as the Account Name.
• Important: Select the following API permissions:
  
  • Customers - Modify
  • Information & Settings - Modify
  • Orders - Modify
  • Order transactions - Modify
  • Create Payment - Create
  • Get payment methods - Read-only
  • Products - Modify
  • Store Inventory - Read-only
  • Channel Settings - Read
  • Fulfillment Methods - Read-only
  • Order Fulfillment - Modify
  • Store Location - Read-only
  • Information & Settings - Read-only 
• Click Save. A pop-up window will appear displaying your API credentials.
• Download the provided .txt file for safekeeping.

2. Connect in Commercium Portal: You are now ready to get Bigcommerce connected with Commercium

• Log in to your Commercium Portal. Navigate to Manage Channel > Add Channels.


• Select the "Bigcommerce" option.


• You will be prompted to enter the API credentials you generated in the Step 1.

a) Enter the Channel name

b) Access token, Client id & Client Secret which you just got from Bigcommerce & Connect.
