Step 4: How to Import Existing Products from AbeBooks to Commercium

If you already have products listed on AbeBooks, you can import your existing AbeBooks listings into Commercium.
This allows Commercium to identify and link your existing AbeBooks listings
📌 When Should You Use This?

Use this process if:

  • You already have products listed on AbeBooks.
  • You have connected AbeBooks with Commercium.
  • You want Commercium to identify and link your existing AbeBooks listings.
⚠️ Important: This process is for existing AbeBooks listings.So It does not create new listings on AbeBooks.
Step 1: Log in to AbeBooks

Log in to your AbeBooks seller account.

Step 2: Request the Listings Report

Go to:

My Account → My Downloads
Request the Listings Report.
The Listings Report contains information such as:
  • Listing ID
  • Price
  • Quantity
⏳ Wait for AbeBooks to generate the report.
Step 3: Download the Listings Report

Once the report is ready:

  1. Go to My Account → My Downloads.
  2. Open Download Pending Files.
  3. Download the generated Listings Report.
  4. Save the file on your computer.

Step 4: Upload the Report to Commercium

Log in to your Commercium account.

Go to:
Products → AbeBooks Products → Upload
Select the Listings Report downloaded from AbeBooks and upload the file.
Step 5: Verify the Imported Products 

🔍Commercium will process the uploaded report and use the listing information to identify and link the existing AbeBooks listings.

Once the process is complete:
  1. Open your AbeBooks products in Commercium.
  2. Review the imported listings.
  3. Verify that the products are linked correctly.
⚠️ Important

The Listings Report is used to import and link existing AbeBooks listings.

It does not create new AbeBooks listings.
