Connecting Finale Inventory to Commercium

This article will guide you through the process of generating the required API credentials from your Finale Inventory dashboard, enabling you to connect it with Commercium by Constacloud successfully.
1. Generate API Keys from Finale Inventory
Follow the steps below to generate the required API credentials:
  • Log in to your Finale Inventory dashboard.
  • Click on the Settings icon.
  • Go to Application Settings.
  • Navigate to the Users tab.
  • Look for the API Keys section.
  • Click on Add New API Keys.
  • Enter a name (Like “Commercium”).
  • Click on Create.
        2. Once created, you will receive:
        • API Key
        • API Secret
        (Make sure to copy and store these credentials securely.)
        3. Connect Finale Inventory to Commercium
        • Log in to your Commercium account.

        (If you already have an account, sign in using your login credentials. If you’re not yet registered, contact our sales team at help@mycommercium.com.)

        • Go to Integrations.
        • Click on Available Integrations.
          Select Finale Inventory.
        4. You will now see the connection form. Fill in the following details:
        Channel Name

        • Enter any name for your reference to identify this channel.
        API Key
        • Paste the API Key generated from your Finale Inventory account.
        API Secret
        • Paste the API Secret generated from your Finale Inventory account.
        Account Name
        • Enter your Finale Inventory account name (the part used in your account URL).
        • Click on Connect to complete the integration.
        5. Configuration

        After the connection is established, you will be redirected to the Settings page.

        a. Choose the Unique Identifier
        • Select the unique identifier for your products, such as SKU, Barcode, or others.
        • Enable Order Sync in the settings.
        b. Order Sync Settings
        • Notify on Unlinked Item/Order – Get email alerts if any order fails or is not linked.
        • Skip Unpaid Orders – Prevent unpaid orders from being imported.
        • Order Notes Preference – Add marketplace order ID with prefix/suffix if needed.
        • Order Number Preference – Customize order number format.
        • Choose Starting Point for Orders – Select date & time (UTC) to start importing orders.
        c. Shipment Sync
        • Enable Shipment Sync.
        • Map shipping methods between Finale Inventory and your connected channels.
        d. Inventory Sync
        • Enable Inventory Sync.
        • Set Safety Stock to maintain buffer inventory.
        • The deducted stock will reflect on connected channels while keeping full stock in Finale Inventory.
        • Click Save to apply all settings.
