Steps on how to connect ODOO with Commercium

Step 1: Access Your Commercium Account

  • If you already have an account with Commercium, sign in using your login credentials.
  • If you’re not yet registered, contact our support team at [email protected] for help getting started.

Step 2: Connect ODOO

  • After logging in, head over to the Channel section on your Commercium dashboard and select Odoo.

Step 3: How to Connect ODOO

  • Channel Name:- In the Channel Name field, enter a name for this connection.

  • URL:- This will be the URL you can extract from Admin Login For Eg, if your URL is 

    • https://dev.constacloud.com/web/login then the domain to enter for Commercium connection will be dev.constacloud.com without https in the start.

  • Database Name - To view the database name in your system, go to Settings - General Settings, then under Developer Tools, activate Developer Mode. Once it’s turned on, the database name will start appearing at the top-right corner of the screen. This makes it easy to identify which database the system is currently connected to, which is helpful for monitoring, testing, debugging, and managing data effectively.

  • Username: Enter your Odoo account username.


    • API Key

    1. Access Profile Preferences

      • Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Odoo dashboard.

      • Select Preferences from the dropdown menu.

    3. Generate a New API Key

      • Click the New API Key button.

      • Odoo will ask you to confirm your identity by entering your user password. Enter the password and proceed.

    4. Describe the API Key

      • Add a short description of the API key’s purpose. For example:

        • “For CRM Integration”

        • “Data Sync with External App”

      • Set how long the key will be valid. It will be deleted after this time.
    4. Generate the Key

      • Once the description is added, click Generate Key.

      • Odoo will create a unique API key for your account.

    5.Copy and Save the Key

      • The API key will be displayed on the screen. Copy it immediately and save it securely, as you won’t be able to view it again later.

    6. Share the API Key

      • Share the key with us
